Meet Our Staff

Heather Phillips, Special Educator

               

Heather Phillips is in her thirteenth year as a special education teacher at Studley. She holds her master's degree from Providence College and is certified in both Elementary and Special Education. Prior to Studley, she worked as a special education teacher at The League School of Greater Boston. She loves what she does and loves the kids that she works with. When she is not teaching, she loves to hang out with her two daughters, ages 25 and 23, her four cats, and her husband of four years. She loves to travel, camp and swim. She is a fan of The Denver Broncos and enjoys going out to eat. 


Andrea Lamonica, Physical Education

Andrea started teaching Physical Education in Attleboro in 2006.  This is her 18th year teaching at the elementary level.  Prior to teaching elementary Physical Education, Andrea was the program director of the Children's Physical Developmental Clinic at Bridgewater State University.  Andrea has a Master of Science degree in Physical Education specializing in Adapted Physical Education and Exercise Prescription.  Andrea has a son Nolan who is 12 and a daughter Abbey who is 16.  Outside of school they enjoy fishing, kayaking, and playing yard games as a family.  Andrea enjoys running, swimming, reading, and going to the beach. 


Lauren Resende, Grade 1 Teacher

   

Mrs. Resende has wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl and always dreamed of having her own classroom. She graduated from Fitchburg State University in 2018 with degrees in elementary education and special education. Over the summer, she completed her masters from Fitchburg State University in Curriculum and Teaching. This school year is her third-year teaching first grade. She truly loves watching and helping her first graders grow over the course of the school year. Mrs. Resende lives in Rhode Island with her husband, and three dogs, Charlie, Teddy, and Scooby. Mrs. Resende loves going to Disney World, shopping, and spending time with her family and three dogs. She is so happy to be a first-grade teacher at Studley.
