Mrs. FitzGerald, Grade 3 Teacher
Growing up in Attleboro as a student at Finberg Elementary, Mrs. FitzGerald LOVED school. Her teachers are the people that made her feel that way, and she can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to follow in their footsteps. She attended Boston College for her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. She followed up with a master’s from Fitchburg State in Elementary Education. Right after graduating BC, she started teaching and it has been one of the biggest joys of her life. She works hard to make every student feel cared for and love learning.
She lives in Attleboro with her husband (who she married this summer), her sons, and their dog, Elliott. Her oldest son, PJ, is a junior at AHS, and her son, Will, is in 7th grade at Coelho. She's also lucky to be a stepmom to two great kids. Her stepdaughter, Kaleigh, is a sophomore at Bridgewater State, and her stepson, Jack, is a senior at AHS.
When she's not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family eating yummy food, playing games, watching movies together, listening to all kinds of music, and reading.
