Meet Our Staff

Mrs. Burke, Grade 2 Teacher

Mrs. Burke has been teaching second grade at Studley Elementary School since 2003. She received her Elementary Certification and Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 2002.  Her first year teaching was in Stafford, Virginia teaching second grade.  She was part of a FLES (Foreign Language in Elementary School) program where she taught students Spanish along with the regular curriculum.  After one year in Virginia, she moved back to be near her family in Rhode Island and started teaching at Studley Elementary.  Since then, she has received her Masters in Reading from Rhode Island College. She finds second grade a very rewarding year to teach as kids grow significantly as readers and writers as they gain confidence and independence.   Mrs. Burke lives in North Kingstown, Rhode Island with her husband and two kids, Benjamin, 14, and Allison, 12.  In her free time, she enjoys going for walks, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.  Her favorite thing to do is spend her days on the beach in the  summer.

Courtney Consentino, School Adjustment Counselor

Mrs. Consentino is one of two school adjustment counselors here at Studley. This is her fifth year at Studley Elementary School. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge. Prior to her work here in Attleboro, she was a behavior specialist for the Elementary Stabilization Program at Newton Public Schools.

Outside of school, she spends most of her time with her husband, Alex, and their black lab mix, Vader! Her favorite hobbies include spending time at their lake house in New Hampshire, taking Vader for walks in the woods, hiking, photography, live music, going on road trips, and visiting national parks - they have visited 17 so far and can’t wait to see them all someday!
