In response to potential changes to federal immigration policies and how they might affect our students, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office has released guidance that can be found here: https://www.attleboroschools.com/page/guidance
Dear APS Families,
We’re pleased to announce an update to the Attleboro Public Schools mobile app, rolling out the week of January 27!
Here’s what’s new:
Enhanced Navigation: A more intuitive design for quick access to announcements, messages, and class information.
Streamlined Communication: Faster, easier ways to connect with your student’s teachers.
To enjoy these improvements, update your app through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store during the week of January 27. If you have automatic updates enabled, no action is needed.

Don't forget - tomorrow is an early release day. Dismissal will be at 12:25PM, and there is no lunch served.
Fourth graders are off for a fun filled day at Gillette!
Attleboro Families:
Attleboro High School greatly appreciates the support of families at all AHS sporting events. While most students are there to watch the games and enjoy the event, a number of students have been left/dropped off unsupervised. This has created safety concerns and disruptions for other fans in attendance and game management staff.
Moving forward, ALL middle school aged students and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult at all high school events. We appreciate your support keeping all in attendance supervised while allowing an enjoyable environment for all.
Please know this expectation is currently in place for AHS events moving forward.
We look forward to seeing you all soon and thank you for supporting AHS!
Studley staff have been going "undercover" this week. What will the next two days bring? The kids are loving the surprise each day!
We had so much fun with our Mystery Readers. Can't wait for the next time! 📚

Detective Daday from the Attleboro Police Department will be joining the PTO meeting tonight to speak about Internet Safety. If you are able to join, we would love to have you. It will be at 6:00PM in the library.
As you may be aware, a disturbing nationwide trend has made its way to Massachusetts.
While the Attleboro Public Schools community has not received any reports of these messages yet, they have been reported in several states, including Alabama, California, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
In these states, students of color have received texts that have some variation of a message that they have been “selected to pick cotton at the nearest plantation.”
This is an abhorrent trend that does not reflect our values as a school community or a people. Racism in any form has no place in our schools, our community, or our society, and we will stand firm in our efforts to eradicate it.
Massachusetts State Police have been notified of the instances that occurred in Massachusetts, and police in other communities are working with the Commonwealth Fusion Center to investigate the matter and share resources. Please contact your local police should you have received a message as described above.
Thank you for your continued support.
Due to an ongoing lack of rainfall and critically low water supply levels, Attleboro needs your help to conserve water resources.
Some more pictures from a fun filled day at SES!
Studley staff had some fun with our spirit day! Stay tuned for more pictures from today. Everyone had a blast! ⭐️
Attleboro Families:
Attleboro High School greatly appreciates the support of families at all AHS sporting events. Recently, a large number of middle school and some elementary students have attended AHS athletic events (football/volleyball) games without parental supervision. While the majority of students are there to watch the games and enjoy the event, a number of students have been left/dropped off unsupervised. This has created safety concerns and disruptions for other fans in attendance.
Moving forward, ALL middle school aged students and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult at all high school events. We appreciate your support keeping all in attendance supervised while allowing an enjoyable environment for all.
Please know this expectation is currently in place for AHS events moving forward.
We look forward to seeing you all soon.
Thank you.

Second graders reading with Ms. Piazza were EXCITED to see Mr. Norman when they read about Norman in their story. We love connecting our reading to real life! ♥️
